This week we have been continuing our learning about who helps us. We had a visit from Miss Horton who talked to us about being a nurse. She showed us how to use some nurses equipment and how to bandage someone’s arm.
In our pen disco we have been practising the arch shape and drawing lots of rainbows. We used pens and cotton buds and paint to draw them in different ways.
On the creative table we used our junk modelling box to make different vehicles. We made cars, vans and rockets. We used sellotape and different glues to join the boxes together. We thought about which would be the best to use.
Our nursery rhyme of the week was Down at the station. We sang it in loud and quiet voices and listened for the syllables in different words and clapped them out.
Our sound of the week was the g sound. We listened for the g sound at the beginning of grapes, goat and girl.
