We’ve had another fantastic week in Nursery. We have continued talking about the new routines in Nursery including where our nursery toys belong, how to use the outside equipment and where we can find tissues if we have a runny nose!
We have been reading lots of stories and singing lots of nursery rhymes and counting songs including wind the bobbin up, 1,2,3,4,5 once I caught a fish alive and row, row, row your boat.
We have started our phonics program, Little Wandle Foundations and have been singing pat-a-cake. We have started to talk about sounds that we can hear and clapping syllables in words.
In the garden, the mud kitchen has been very popular, lots of cakes, soups and drinks have been made and shared!
If your child has not bought in wellies yet please could you bring in a named pair that they can keep at school.
