This week
This week we welcomed the children into Nursery for the first time. They all did a fantastic job of coming in and putting their coats and water bottles away. We have spent lots of time this week talking about the new routines in Nursery including how to tidy up, where to find the toilets and where to wash our hands.
The children have enjoyed exploring the classroom environments and choosing indoor and outdoor activities, the bikes and sticking table have been very popular!
Next week
Next week we will be continuing to become familiar with our new environment. We will be working together during our play and at tidy up time.
We will be singing lots of nursery rhymes and counting songs including wind the bobbin up, 1,2,3,4,5 once I caught a fish alive and row, row, row your boat.
Reminders
Please could you make sure that your child’s water bottle and lunch bag is named.
If your child has not bought in wellies yet please could you bring in a named pair that they can keep at school.
